As mentioned in the previous post, this very prolific band also recorded several R&B and Soul covers and even a couple of Small Faces numbers among others, but their real genius is found in their own compositions.

A request for a new comp: 60s South American surf records. Just heard a couple of Los 007 instrumentals and they definitely did listen to the Ventures back then. There were more "Los" groups doing surf back then, probably. Do you have something? Would appreciate it very much.

i don't have much instro stuff, you might want to check Psychodelicias vol.7, a volume dedicated to mostly Peruvian surf bands but of later vintage...that's the thing, Surf survived alongside later musical forms in Peru, Bolivia and other places and kind of blended with different styles!
Great post. The Tages were an incredibly good band, and are one of the best pop-psych discoveries I've made in many years.
